I am seriously loving April. Angie's visit was the perfect cure for the older-sister withdrawals I was beginning to experience. Hey--it's been over a year, okay? And seeing my SERIOUSLY cute niece and nephew (see previous blog entry) with their little posh English accents was too fun. Okay--you are totally cool too, John, and not just because you re-caulked my bathroom sink.
The other highlight of the month was learning that Abbey --my personal fashion and beauty consultant --is moving back to the valley to attend the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology. You rock, Ab. Now I will have someone with whom I can spend hours of my day gawking over pricey beauty products at Sephora. We are so there. You and me.

Bottom line: I've learned that time spent with my family is priceless--it's the kind of happy that sticks around, that puts joy in your life, and that builds precious memories.
Yes, there is NOTHING more fulfilling or postively gratifying than sharing a huge CHAOTIC Easter meal with 18 people who are reaching over plates, laughing, shuffling crying children around, and who genuinely adore one another's company. I feel truly blessed to be part of the coolest family in town. Okay, the world.

What a great blog entry! And the sister on the left (Angie?) looks just like you! I'm sure your Easter was absolutely wonderful. I do love the idea of large, chaotic--but joyous--family gatherings! Post more pics if you can... Hope all is well.
